The Shared Lives Team is looking for a full-time Shared Lives Officer. You’ll be part of a small but fantastic team dedicated to supporting adults with care and support needs to live life to the fullest in Shared Lives arrangements.

About the Role: As a Shared Lives Officer, you’ll:
• Support Shared Lives carers and the people they care for.
• Help match individuals with carers based on interests, needs, and compatibility.
• Promote the Shared Lives model across the service and wider community.
• Contribute to the development and growth of the scheme.

• Previous experience of caseload management.

A Shared Lives Officer Supports the Registered Manager within a CQC regulated setting to ensure high quality provision of services to older people, working age people with a learning disability including young people from 16 years of age and people with physical and mental health needs, to a high standard of care consistent with individual needs in accordance with statute and Government Guidance.
A Shared Lives Officer effectively manages a caseload of shared lives arrangements, supporting people with critical, substantial and often complex needs and provide clear supervision, direction, guidance and support to a team of allocated Shared Lives Providers.

Working flexibly, on occasions working outside of normal working hours, is required to support with event evenings and respond to emergencies ensuring an excellent service for the people we support is offered.

You will be required to travel for work purposes.

Applicants to posts that are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act will require a DBS from the Disclosure and Barring Service before the appointment is confirmed.
