Summary
Main responsibilities: To carry out driving duties on behalf of the trust, collecting and delivering ambulances primarily within the trust boundaries but occasionally beyond these. To collect and deliver Ambulances, vehicle parts, tools and other items as requested to assist in day to day service delivery. To adhere to trust values. To ensure cleanliness and roadworthiness of vehicles used within role where appropriate. To ensure the workshop is kept clean and tidy. To move parts and medical equipment throughout the trust some lifting and carrying will be required. The duties and responsibilities of the post will be undertaken in accordance with the policies, procedures and practices of the Trust, which may be amended from time to time. Patient Safety is a key priority for the Trust. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are fully compliant with EMAS policies and procedures in respect of patient safety, for example Risk Management, Infection Prevention and Control, Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults.
