Summary
The Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker should actively contribute to the health and well-being of patients, staff and service users and be able to communicate effectively with sensitivity and compassion. They should be able to work independently within their sphere of nursing while under the supervision of registered nurses. Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Workers should demonstrate a level of skill and understanding which enables them to undertake specific skills and tasks delegated by the registered nurse and in accordance with relevant procedures, guidelines and policies at UHNM. They will be required to undertake both routine and specially identified tasks for which they have been trained and assessed as competent. This role requires the following qualifications and documents to be provided as part of the recruitment and selection process for this role, if you are offered a role and unable to provide these documents, we are afraid the offer will be withdrawn: GCSEs or equivalent Certificate for Maths and English, equivalent to current Level 4/ C or level 2 functional skills Maths/English.
