What you'll be doing;

  • Supervise daily operations of the Road Sweeping Plant to produce high-quality recycled products through effective decision-making and task delegation
  • Ensure shift personnel perform duties efficiently and safely in compliance with company RAMS, safe systems of work, and local operating procedures
  • Oversee coordination of machinery and equipment cleaning programmes and conduct essential machinery and plant checks
  • Manage waste and product flows and associated traffic management systems
  • Liaise with all operational departments to organize safe collection inputs and coordinate acceptance and processing of loads
  • Coordinate the collection and delivery of end products from the Road Sweeping Plant
  • Identify and requisition parts needed for plant maintenance and operations
  • Prepare and submit monthly tonnage reports



What we're looking for;

  • Previous supervisory experience in a similar operational environment with ability to work collaboratively with other teams to maximize throughput and output
  • Self-motivated with strong relationship-building skills and ability to perform effectively in highly pressurized environments
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent qualification required
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and safe working systems
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with proven ability to coach and motivate team members
  • IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft packages and SCADA systems
  • Experience in washing/aggregate recovery operations and mobile plant operation
  • Loading Shovel and Tele-handler licenses desirable but not essential
  • Full UK driving licence essential
