What you'll be doing;
- Supervise daily operations of the Road Sweeping Plant to produce high-quality recycled products through effective decision-making and task delegation
- Ensure shift personnel perform duties efficiently and safely in compliance with company RAMS, safe systems of work, and local operating procedures
- Oversee coordination of machinery and equipment cleaning programmes and conduct essential machinery and plant checks
- Manage waste and product flows and associated traffic management systems
- Liaise with all operational departments to organize safe collection inputs and coordinate acceptance and processing of loads
- Coordinate the collection and delivery of end products from the Road Sweeping Plant
- Identify and requisition parts needed for plant maintenance and operations
- Prepare and submit monthly tonnage reports
What we're looking for;
- Previous supervisory experience in a similar operational environment with ability to work collaboratively with other teams to maximize throughput and output
- Self-motivated with strong relationship-building skills and ability to perform effectively in highly pressurized environments
- IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent qualification required
- Comprehensive knowledge of current Health & Safety legislation and safe working systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills with proven ability to coach and motivate team members
- IT literate with proficiency in Microsoft packages and SCADA systems
- Experience in washing/aggregate recovery operations and mobile plant operation
- Loading Shovel and Tele-handler licenses desirable but not essential
- Full UK driving licence essential
