The Imaging Services covers a wide variety of clinical departments; sub-specialties who focus on specific referring specialisms e.g. Musculoskeletal, Paediatric, Vascular, Neurology, Head and Neck, Cardiology and Respiratory Medicine, Accident and Emergency, Oncology, Genitourinary and General Surgery.
Each of these sub-specialties covers a wide range of imaging modalities from Fluoroscopy and Plain film Radiography to Ultrasound, CT, and MRI. We employ over 60 Consultant Radiologists, 30 junior Doctors, 190 Radiographers, 40 Sonographers, over 160 Clinical and admin support; and image over 1650 patients a day/600,000 a year.
