Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Factory Labourer to join our production team. In this hands-on role, you will perform various tasks within our manufacturing facility to ensure the efficient production and packaging of high-quality products while strictly adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
Perform quality control checks and inspections on products to identify and remove defective items.
Package and label finished products accurately in preparation for storage and shipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment is cleaned and maintained as required.
Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience: Previous experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment is preferred, but on-the-job training is often provided.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions.
Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to spot defects and ensure product quality.
Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to attendance.
Teamwork: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Working Conditions
The role is based in a factory setting, which may be noisy and fast-paced. The position may require wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection. Ability to work flexible hours,and occasional overtime, may be required depending on production needs.
