A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF



I am a 16 year old boy living in the Ferndale area with my family. I am a very happy boy and I enjoy swimming, trampolining and going to the park. I also love anything with wheels especially if I can spin it. I also have a good appetite and enjoy eating out.



I have a diagnosis of Autism and am non-verbal. I am good at communicating what I want though. I require 2:1 support to access the community safely.



PURPOSE OF JOB



Looking for PAs to allow me to access the community to support with day to day living and to support me to undertake activities.



HOURS OF WORK



30 hours between 2 PAs. 2:1 support in the community.



Weekend work included.



RATES OF PAY



£13 per hour plus 40p per mile where applicable.



TASKS INVOLVED



Taking me out into the community and supporting me with day to day tasks.
Changing me as I am incontinent.
Going swimming, to the park or to a trampoline park.
Taking me out for food.









TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED



A car driver with business class insurance.
A kind and friendly person.
Someone who is punctual and reliable.
A patient person willing to build a rapport with me.





ABOUT THE JOB

Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly and appropriate holiday pay given.

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).

The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
