About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Vehicle Image Engineer to join our team remotely. As a technical expert in vehicle construction and repair, you will play a vital role in supporting colleagues, improving processes, and ensuring repair quality across our network.
This role is ideal for individuals who thrive on detail, enjoy problem-solving, and are motivated to make a significant impact in the automotive and insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct image-based desktop inspections and authorise repairs within tolerance levels.
• Provide guidance and share best practises as a technical authority for colleagues.
• Address and resolve technical complaints related to vehicle construction and repair.
• Conduct audits of the repair network to ensure compliance with policies and costs.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency across processes.
• Develop strong, collaborative relationships with team members and the wider network.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements:
• ATA VDA qualification (mandatory).
• AQP accreditation (beneficial).
• Membership of the Institute of Automotive Engineer Assessors (or working towards membership).
• Knowledge of insurance principles.
• Strong negotiation and audit skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Audatex, HPI, Glass's Guide, and CAP products.
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Organised, professional, and empathetic.
