Crynodeb

We are seeking an experienced and committed Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school on a long-term basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong upper KS2 experience who is confident supporting pupils during a crucial phase of their education.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Year 6 class teacher with daily classroom activities

  
  

• Deliver targeted group interventions and one-to-one support

  
  

• Assist with SATs preparation and help raise pupil attainment

  
  

• Contribute to a positive, calm, and engaging learning environment

  
  

• Collaborate effectively with teaching staff and wider school teams

  
  Requirements

  • Proven experience working in Year 6 or upper KS2

    
    

  • Strong understanding of curriculum expectations and SATs preparation

    
    

  • Ability to support pupils of varying abilities

    
    

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

    
    

  • A proactive, reliable, and professional approach

    
    

  • Relevant TA qualifications (desirable)
