A little about me

I am a 17 year old boy living in the Pontyclun/ Talbot Green area with my parents and our two dogs. When I go out I like to go to a café for some food. I enjoy going to the park and playing on the swing and also like to go swimming and bowling. When at home I like watching Disney / animated films on you tube on the tv and on my tablet. I have a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD and Tourette’s Syndrome I am seeking a personal assistant who is a caring person who I can build a trusting relationship with someone who enjoys my company and I feel comfortable and safe with.



PURPOSE OF JOB

To encourage my independence and confidence as I approach adulthood.



PLACE OF WORK

In the home and out in the community of Pontyclun and surrounding Areas



HOURS OF WORK

20 hours a month



RATE OF PAY

£14 per hour



TASKS INVOLVED

• Spending time in the home with me.

• Building a relationship with me.

• Going out in the community.

• Preparing meals.



TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED

• A person who respects the privacy and confidentiality of working in someone else’s home.

• We are looking for a caring person to build a relationship where by trust is paramount.

• Someone who can drive would be preferred.



ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority). The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
