Summary

We are looking for a caring and empathetic SEN tutor to work 1:1 with a cohort of children in the Sutton area. As an SEN tutor for Remedy you will make a real difference to the lives of local children with special and additional learning needs.

You will be assigned a caseload of SEN students that fall within your specific teaching specialisms, are local to you and also suit your availability.

We are looking to hire teachers with the following skills and experience:
- confident to conduct baseline assessments and diagnostics
- the ability to plan, implement and deliver tailored programmes of study in line with the immediate learning needs of the student
-previous experience working with children either in a school setting or 1:1 within the home, local library or online (sometimes both face-to-face and online is required)
-experience dealing with a range of special educational needs, learning disabilities/difficulties, such as: social and emotional behavioural difficulties, literacy and numeracy needs, dyslexia, dyspraxia ODD, ADHD
- Ideally you will be free to teach within school hours, as that is when most tuition is required, although occasionally we do require tuition in the evenings and on weekends.

Note that you will need a fully enhanced DBS for children and adults which should ideally be registered on the DBS update service - if you do not already have one, you can apply for a new one through Remedy.

If you are interested in working as an SEN outreach tutor for Remedy Tutors, please respond here we will be in touch as soon as possible.

Many thanks for looking and we look forward to hearing from you.
