Summary

Neway International are seeking a Central Service Charge Team Manager to join our client based with Southern Housing.

Location: Grosvenor House, 125 High Street, Croydon, London, CR0 9XP
Hours: 35 hours per week
Start Date: 15/12/2025

Pay Rate: £30.22 PAYE / £39.56 Umbrella
Work Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days remote, 2 days office-based (Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

The Role
The Central Service Charge Team Manager will oversee the delivery of service charge processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the organisation. This position requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to manage complex service charge calculations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the central service charge team to deliver accurate and timely service charge processes.

Oversee the preparation, review, and reconciliation of service charges in line with regulatory requirements.

Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and housing legislation.

Provide clear reporting and analysis to support operational decision-making.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and improve processes.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Candidate Requirements
Proven experience in service charge management within housing or property services.

Strong financial management and analytical skills.

Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge of housing legislation and compliance requirements.

Previous management experience within a housing or property finance environment desirable.
