Summary
Campus Services department at Teesside University provides strategic and operational services support to the University infrastructure, buildings and landholdings. We are a large and diverse department employing approximately 170 staff and provide a wide range of services across our Campus’s.
A vacancy has arisen for a time served Heating Engineer/Plumber to provide a maintenance service within commercial buildings across the University Estate. Duties will include carrying out installation, planned maintenance inspections and first line repairs and servicing of commercial and domestic heating, ventilation and plumbing services. You will attend to reactive, diagnostic and repair requests to commercial mechanical services.
Applicants must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing Services (or equivalent) qualification in addition to a relevant post qualification and practical experience. A full driving licence is also essential, as is a good working knowledge of maintaining commercial mechanical services and equipment in commercial buildings.
