Summary

Full-time | Based in Padiham, Lancashire | Multi-Brand Portfolio

We’re looking for an analytical, curious, and forward-thinking SEO Manager to join our marketing team. You’ll work across several brands within the property and self-storage sector, helping us grow organic visibility, improve website performance, and stay ahead in an AI-driven search landscape.

If you love spotting opportunities in data, fixing what’s slowing a site down, and shaping strategies that actually move rankings and search results, you’ll feel right at home here.

What you’ll be doing

Managing SEO for multiple brands across property, commercial space and self storage.
Keeping websites healthy: fixing broken links, managing redirects, handling 404s, and ensuring strong site hygiene.
Monitoring organic performance across Google and Bing, including keyword rankings, impressions, click-through rates, and search behaviours.
Using a full suite of Google tools: Analytics, Search Console, Google My Business, Tag Manager and more.
Building and maintaining high-quality backlinks while monitoring and disavowing harmful links.
Conducting regular SEO audits and recommending improvements across technical, on-page and content.
Supporting content planning with keyword research, intent mapping and SERP insights.
Working closely with the marketing team to align search strategy with campaigns, launches and seasonal activity.
Presenting insights and opportunities in marketing meetings. You’ll be the go-to person for all things organic search.
Tracking competitor activity and identifying areas where we can outperform them.
Supporting AI-era optimisation, such as structured data, content formatting for AI overviews, and emerging search behaviours alongside the content team.
Producing ad-hoc reports on organic performance and growth opportunities for meetings.

What we’re looking for

Experience in an SEO role (agency or in-house).
Strong understanding of technical SEO, on-page optimisation and content best practice.
Confident using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, SERanking/SEMrush or similar.
Comfortable analysing data and turning it into practical actions.
Strong communication skills: able to explain SEO simply to non-technical colleagues.
A proactive mindset, with a passion for staying ahead of changes in Google, Bing and emerging AI-powered search engines.
Ability to manage your own workload across multiple brands and websites.

Nice to have

Familiarity with schema markup and structured data.
Basic understanding of CRO or UX principles.
Experience with CMS platforms.

What you’ll get

The chance to shape SEO strategy across a thriving multi-brand group.
A supportive marketing team that values your expertise and skills.
Ongoing opportunities to learn, test and innovate as search evolves.
A role where your insights directly influence performance and brand growth.
