The Role

You’ll be part of our busy Sheffield-based support team, helping a wide range of customers keep their systems running smoothly. Whether you're troubleshooting tricky issues or guiding someone through a fix, you'll be growing your technical knowledge with every ticket you handle.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot critical issues – Gain expertise in enterprise systems while diagnosing and resolving real-world IT problems.
• Manage support requests – Build speed and confidence as you handle support calls and log tickets using clear workflows.
• Stay in control – Track and prioritise tasks to ensure quick resolution and meet service levels.
• Strengthen communication skills – Interact with a wide variety of users and learn how to adapt your style to get the best results.
• Make an impact – Action account changes and system updates that deliver instant value to users.
• Work across platforms – Install, configure, and maintain software on a range of devices and environments.
• Contribute to the team’s toolkit – Update internal guides with what you learn so others can benefit too.
• Help users grow – Share practical advice that empowers people to get the best out of their tech.
• Get ahead of the curve – Stay sharp on our product and service offering so you can confidently support customers.
• You’ll also support escalations and recurring faults, gaining a deeper understanding of patterns and root causes that shape long-term fixes.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:00pm, with a 12:00pm–8:00pm shift on a rota. Includes on-call support, explained during onboarding.

You're curious, reliable, and ready to take your support experience to the next level. Ideally, you bring knowledge of:

• Windows 10/11
• Active Directory
• Microsoft 365
• Nice to have (but we’ll train you if not):
• Windows Server 2012 R2–2022
• Remote Desktop Services / Citrix
• VPNs, VMWare vSphere
• Email Security, Web Filtering, Acronis Backup
