Summary

£12.80 per hour | Occasional hours | School Drive

Join our centrally located Aberdeen service, offering meaningful one-to-one support to people with learning disabilities and mental health challenges. From medication and personal care to daily living and outreach, you’ll help individuals live safely, comfortably, and independently.

Our School Drive service is home to adults with physical/learning disabilities. Our service feels like family – relaxed, supportive, and centred around the people who live here. Every day brings new moments to celebrate: from small wins in independence to big laughs over mealtimes.

Your working hours

The role offers occasional hours as required to cover holidays and sickness.

• Day shifts: 7.30am - 3.15pm, 8.00am - 3.15pm and 2.00pm - 10.00pm

• Night shifts: 9.45pm - 7.45am

What you’ll do

• Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication
• Encourage independence through a person-centred approach
• Accompany people to appointments, events, and community activities
• Keep clear, accurate records
• Most importantly – help each person live life on their own terms

• Understanding and experience of learning disabilities and mental health

• Warm, friendly, and empathetic approach
• Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Personal care experience (helpful, but not essential)
• A genuine desire to help others and make a difference
