Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Are you an exceptional and committed teacher of Modern Foreign Languages who is seeking to work within a supportive, dynamic and highly successful MFL department? As a key member of the team, you will have the ability to teach across Key Stages 3 & 4, including the delivery of GCSE. If you are a strong classroom practitioner and an excellent communicator, we would love to hear from you!
We pride ourselves on being a highly innovative and successful faculty and are committed to delivering the syllabus through active learning and digital technologies, utilising our status as a Microsoft Showcase School in which all pupils have access to their own ‘one-to-one’ device.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled and enthusiastic teacher to join our vibrant, MFL department. We have recently become an all-through school, serving pupils from the ages of 4–16, so the opportunity to learn about primary provision and develop expertise in transition is a real advantage of this role.
Fostering pupils’ desire to study languages is a key priority here at Ribblesdale, as evidenced by the newly opened Languages Café at the heart of our school – in our recent three-quarter of a million-pound library renovation.
We seek a teacher who shares our innovative approach to teaching and learning, who will be able to demonstrate the creativity, flexibility, and resilience needed to offer outstanding opportunities for our pupils – something Ribblesdale School provides in abundance! Our overarching aim is to enable all our pupils to become confident and inquiring individuals and to cultivate a lifelong love of learning. We look forward to receiving your application!
Suitable for an ECT or an experienced teacher.
