Summary

Job Title: Supply Chain Planner (Temporary 3-Month Contract)

Location: Bingley BD16
Pay rate: £14.36phr
Contract: Temporary (3-month contract)


We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planner to support the sub-contracting processes of custom products. This is a temporary 3-month contract with the potential for future opportunities depending on business needs. You will work closely with procurement, quality, and operations teams to ensure efficient production planning and on-time delivery of customer orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day planning of Insolion product lines.
• Collaborate with the onsite buyer and central procurement to maximize efficiencies and ensure customer promise dates are met.
• Create and maintain planning KPIs using system dates and resources, in line with business requirements.
• Identify urgent orders and liaise with the Operations Planner or Strategic Planner to prioritize.
• Expedite replacement and priority customer orders, following the escalation process.
• Ensure job packets are printed and delivered to the shop floor for timely production.
• Provide updates and resolve ad-hoc queries from Key Accounts regarding customer order statuses.
• Raise purchase orders for all sub-contract requirements and manage supplier relationships.
• Work with the Quality Department to address any Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) from suppliers.
• Handle invoice queries and ensure timely resolution.
• Expedite sub-contract orders regularly with suppliers to meet delivery schedules.
• Check and accept order acknowledgments on the system and ensure all items are ready for collection daily.
• Maintain an updated sub-contract plan daily with returned items.


Essential Skills & Experience:

• Experience in supply chain planning within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Solid understanding of production planning using ERP systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
