Person Specification Criteria Attributes Essential Desirable How judged Attainments and practical skills Fellowship training or equivalent postgraduate training/experience in the management of patients with medical disorders of the retina. Surgical or non-surgical skills not currently offered by the department. Evidence of leadership skills. Application / CV and interview Qualifications Medical degree. FRCOphth (or equivalent). CST in ophthalmology. Specialist registration with the GMC. Post-graduate research degree (MD, PhD, MSc).
