The Opportunity
As our Additional Learning Support Worker, you’ll provide personalised support to our students with additional learning needs, including those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). Your role is all about creating a positive, inclusive environment where our learners can overcome barriers, develop independence, and achieve their goals. In addition, you may provide personal care support where required, whilst always ensuring dignity and respect are maintained.
Your role will also involve offering emotional and pastoral support to help our students build resilience and confidence. A proactive attitude and the flexibility to respond to different situations will also be essential, as no two days in this role are the same.
While experience working with individuals with learning difficulties or disabilities is desirable, it’s your attitude and dedication that matter most. You’ll be someone who thrives on making a difference and is committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment.
