Role Overview

As a Front of House Team Member, you will be the friendly face that welcomes and assists our guests, ensuring their visit is memorable and enjoyable. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain smooth daily operations and uphold the high standards for which Lighthouse Hotel Management is known.

Key Responsibilities


Greet guests warmly and assist with enquiries both in person and over the phone
Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
Provide detailed information about the menu and specials, catering to guest preferences and dietary needs
Take and process orders accurately, liaising with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the front of house areas
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
Assist with cash handling and point-of-sale transactions
Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service delivery
Adhere to health and safety, licensing, and hygiene standards


Qualifications & Skills


Previous experience in a front of house role within catering or hospitality preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Basic numeracy skills for handling payments
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Knowledge of health and safety regulations is an advantage
