Summary
Our client is seeking a Personal Assistant. This lady needs support in accessing the community, socially and attending meetings/appointments. No personal care is required. She is looking for someone who is respectful of her independence and an understanding with regards to supporting people with mental health needs.
The support will largely include accessing community activities, exploring the local area, dog walks and attending groups/meetings. It will could also include an element of light domestic support within the home environment. Ideally the successful candidate will be outgoing, considerate and have an interest in exploring community activities.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential, however, the person MUST be comfortable and small dog friendly. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A driver with a full clean licence and access to a car is desirable.
This is a part time position for up to 10 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.50 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
