Summary
FJA are recruiting on behalf of a leading service provider in the wastewater industry for an experienced to SHEQ Advisor to strengthen their team based in Bournemouth.
You will report directly to the Regional SHEQ Manager, providing advice and support to the SHEQ team across the region.

SHEQ Advisor responsibilities:
Develop a strong understanding of the company's approach to managing SHEQ risk and delivering best-in-class performance.
Maintain a proactive, dynamic approach to supporting SHEQ activities across the business.
Monitor and review the close-out of corrective actions to ensure they are effectively implemented and deliver measurable improvements.
Organise audits and support the planning, delivery and execution of SHEQ assurance audits.
Lead accident and incident investigations and provide support to investigations carried out by the Head of SHEQ.
Integrate with wider project teams to gain insight into day-to-day operational challenges.
Work collaboratively with clients to develop and deliver effective SHEQ solutions.
Gain exposure to the full project management lifecycle within project delivery.
Identify and promote opportunities for sustainable and continuous improvement solutions.
Analyse and trend key performance and SHEQ data to support informed decision-making.
Maintain externally certified management systems in line with relevant standards.
SHEQ Advisor requirements:
Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and evaluate data while ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
Strong capability to identify trends and clearly communicate key issues and findings.
Proven experience working effectively within a SHEQ team environment.
Competent in interpreting legislation and Approved Codes of Practice.
Capable of making informed decisions, with the judgement to recognise when escalation of issues or concerns is required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strength in Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
Flexible and adaptable approach to work, including working time and location.
