We are seeking a motivated and experienced Subway Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy Subway store within the ISS retail department at a hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity to join ISS while managing one of the UK’s leading sandwich chains in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
As Subway Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of five staff members, ensuring compliance with both ISS and Subway standards.
You will play a key role in achieving budgeted sales and GP%, maintaining brand standards, and delivering excellent customer service. In addition, you will act as assistant to the Retail Manager and cover their duties during annual leave.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day operations of the Subway store within the hospital retail department.
Lead and supervise a team of five staff members during your shifts.
Ensure all staff complete ISS and Subway training requirements.
Drive sales performance and achieve budgeted sales and GP% targets.
Maintain strict adherence to Subway brand standards and ISS policies.
Oversee food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance at all times.
Support the Retail Manager and cover their role during periods of annual leave.
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve any operational issues promptly.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience in managing a food business.
Strong background in staff management and team leadership.
Ability to work independently and take responsibility for store performance.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
