About the Company Our client is a market leader in Carbon Fibre Manufacturing for the automotive industry. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Kit Cutter to join their high-performing production team. The Role

Reporting to the Laminating Supervisor, the Kit Cutter will work as part of a small, dedicated team using a Zund cutting machine to produce material kits for the laminating department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cutting materials to order using the Zund machine, following design specifications.
  • Transferring design templates from the internal computer system to the Zund machine.
  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
  • Completing all job paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Liaising with the Kit Cutting and Laminating Supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Performing routine checks and reporting any machine faults immediately.
Skills & Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous cutting or laminating experience.
  • Knowledge of working with Carbon Composites would be preferred
  • Experience using a CNC router machine (cutting plastics, foam, or wood).
  • Strong computer literacy and ability to work with job files and templates.
  • A flexible, adaptable approach to changing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and good communication skills.
