What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience or strong understanding of working with children aged 0–5
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and early years frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, creativity, empathy, and a genuine passion for early childhood education
  • Basic first aid awareness; willingness to complete paediatric first aid training if required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities to support children’s learning and development.
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress, contributing to regular reports and updates.
  • Ensure a safe, stimulating, and hygienic environment in line with safeguarding and health & safety standards.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
  • Assist with daily routines including mealtimes, hygiene, and care needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to support smooth daily operations.
