Job Title: AccountantLocation: NottinghamType: PermanentIndustry: Accountancy and Finance Salary: £50,000k per annum plus excellent company benefitsWorkchain is currently seeking an experienced Accountant for our client in Nottingham, NG16, on a permanent basis.Our client is an accountancy practice and are seeking an Accountant to join their growing team.The successful candidate will be ACA / ACCA qualified or nearly qualified, or qualified by experience with a strong experience in practice and the ability to provide high quality service to a varied client base.This role is being recruited for on a permanent basis.Key responsibilities include:• Preparing, reviewing and presenting year end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients, including limited companies, partnerships and sole traders.• Managing client relationships.• Preparing management accounts, VAT returns, HMRC and corporation tax reports.• Supporting business growth through excellent customer service.Experience will include:• ACCA / ACA qualified or close to qualification, or qualified by experience.• Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment is essential.• Strong financial knowledge and understanding and excellent attention to detail.• Client communication, client service and relationship managementHours of work are Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm.The starting salary is up to £50kpa depending on experience, with excellent company benefits.Please apply online and complete the application form to be considered for this position.
