Parcel sorter
Parcel sorted required immediately for a privately owned independent company with 30 years’ experience in International Delivery at their site in Castle Donington. This is an ongoing position which may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key duties & responsibilities
Use of in-house system to scan parcels and generate/print labels
Locate and process parcels within the warehouse
Scanning and processing parcels into computer system, printing off labels to label parcels and adding on to conveyor ready for despatch
Picking and packing products accurately whilst working to targets
Adhering to the company's Health & Safety guidelines
Adhoc warehouse duties
Requirements for this role
DBS check (if you haven't got a DBS certificate you must be willing to apply for one and give the application reference number)
Previous experience within a similar role is desirable but not essential
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
Willingness to work
Teamwork skills
Patience and flexibility
Physically fit
Safety boots & hi-vis vest
Hours of work
Monday & Tuesday 8am - 8pm
Wednesday to friday 10am - 8pm
