Are you a passionate and ambitious recent Psychology graduate or similar with a 2:1 or higher?

Have you been seeking valuable experience that can take you into Clinical/Educational Psychology or Speech & Language Therapy?

Do you have the compassion, empathy and resilience required to support learners with a variety of additional needs?

A dynamic SEN school is keen to employ an additional SEN TA or Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with Special Education Needs (SEN). This role is a hands-on, school-based position offering outstanding relevant experience that will take you into a plethora of therapeutic or research-based fields.

The Role:

Wirral SEN Specialist School
Full-time, long-term Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant Role
Sociable working hours between 8:00 – 16:00, Mon/Fri
Support learners with additional needs
Use your degree in a meaningful way
Have a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable learners
Earn up to £550 per week
Full training and support provided

If you are an empathetic and passionate recent Psychology Graduate or similar, with a keen interest in the education sector, this role is for you. Relevant experience is beneficial but not required for this position and full training will be provided to ensure your success as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will assist classroom leaders in ensuring that all students have inclusive and equal access to education. You may work 1:1 or in small groups with SEN learners and support them in their academic, social and emotional development. Training will be provided to ensure that you are able to manage and care for a wide range of SEN needs, utilising your academic background, theoretical knowledge of SEN and any relevant experience you may bring to the table.
