Summary
CAD SPACE PLANNER
Salary: £36,029.40 per annum
Working Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm
Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, TA5 1UD
G4S Facilities Management is recruiting a CAD Space Planner for a full-time, permanent position based in Bridgwater, Somerset.
The successful candidate will work closely with client representatives to create space plan drawing proposals using AutoCAD LT software. Key duties include ensuring the timely production of new drawings and continually reviewing and updating existing records to maintain accuracy
Core Responsibilities:
Space Planning & Design
Create and provide space plan proposals for new and existing buildings as requested by the client, utilizing HPC standard materials and ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislation.
Update and maintain master drawings within the client’s document control system, completing the preparation and review process where necessary.
Record fire, muster, and first aid assets within building plans and make this information readily available to the Workspace Asset Manager for client and stakeholder engagement.
Drawing Maintenance & Accuracy
Ensure all building drawings are of a high standard and accuracy at all times.
Work with the G4S General Manager (GM) HPC site Facilities Team to create, modify, and provide accurate updates following building audits.
Under the direction of the Workspace Asset Manager, upload and maintain the electronic system in accordance with desk allocation across the HPC site.
Stakeholder & Day-to-Day Support
Respond to general requests from the client FM Workspace Delivery Lead regarding the project portfolio of building assets.
Proactively highlight any issues with the space planning and work through to a resolution.
Provide ad-hoc support for day-to-day workspace management activities.
Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum of two years' active experience utilizing AutoCAD LT.
Demonstrable experience in space management (planning and optimization).
High level of competency within the Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Passion and enthusiasm for design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
