Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in steel manufacturing environments, capable of operating machinery to cut, drill, and move heavy steel beams safely. You will also be responsible for tracking materials, managing stock, and ensuring smooth workflow in and out of our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to move heavy metal steel beams and other materials safely.
Cut and drill steel components according to production requirements.
Track materials and goods in and out of the facility accurately.
Assist in unloading and loading shipments of heavy steel products.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in steel manufacturing or heavy materials handling.
Experience in cutting and drilling steel is highly desirable.
Ability to safely handle and maneuver heavy metal beams.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Understanding of workplace safety regulations and procedures.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items when required.
