Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner who will ensure our Council buildings are kept clean, safe, and welcoming for staff, visitors, and community events.

Key Responsibilities
· Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, public areas, toilets, and kitchen facilities
· Emptying bins and recycling points
· Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, and dusting as required
· Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout Council buildings
· Reporting any maintenance or health & safety issues
· Ensuring cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly

Requirements
· Previous cleaning experience
· Attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Reliability and punctuality
· Flexibility to work additional hours if required

Hours of Work
9.5 hours per week, worked as follows:
· 5pm – 7.00pm Monday to Thursday
· 5pm – 6.30pm Friday
