Job Title: Day Care Assistant / Home Care Worker
Location: Southport, Formby, Ainsdale, Churchtown & surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible shifts between 7am–10pm (full-time, part-time, and bank)
Job Description
Collinson Cares is expanding, and we are looking for caring and reliable Day Care Assistants to support adults in their own homes. You will help people live independently, safely, and comfortably, following their personalised care plans.
This is a rewarding role for someone who is compassionate, patient, and committed to high-quality care.
Main Duties
Supporting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene)
Assisting with meals and hydration
Helping with mobility, moving and handling, and use of equipment
Supporting medication administration (training given)
Providing companionship and promoting independence
Light household duties such as tidying and laundry
Recording all tasks accurately in real time
Reporting any concerns to the office or on-call manager
Requirements
Essential:
A caring and compassionate attitude
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and follow care plans
Right to work in the UK
Willingness to complete mandatory training (provided)
Flexibility to work some weekends
Desirable:
Previous experience in care
Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Experience supporting people with dementia or complex needs
