- Fri Job Ref: 615068 We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as Deputy General Manager at Combermere Barracks, Windsor on a permanent, full-time basis.
This role is responsible for supporting the General Manager with soft FM and catering outlets, across 2 main sites and small additional cleaning sites.
Security clearance and a full UK driving licence are essential. To be considered for this position, you must have lived in the UK for at least the last 3 years.

Key responsibilities:
- To ensure the catering department is effectively staffed, maintaining a competent workforce
- Responsible for managing the team to success and their day-to-day activities
- Responsible for driving new initiatives and leading on any change management processes required to continually improve the services
- Contribute to strategic discussions as part of the senior site management team sharing ideas and best practice
- Assist the General Manager with identifying and then delivering improvements on service delivery, financial performance, people development, and team engagement.
- Manage the day-to-day operations and ensure service delivery is of a high quality with an emphasis on standards and the patient experience
- People management, including development and close management of any Employee Relation issues.
Key requirements:
- You must be a seasoned hospitality professional who has a defined background in hospitality and with volume catering experience
- Ideally you will have a military background, but this is not essential
- People management experience
- Literate, numerate and able to manage financials
