Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival is looking to recruit a full-time Communications Officer on a fixed term contract to help plan and execute media and digital campaigns for events across our three venues and for Brighton Festival, which is celebrating its 60th edition in May 2026.

You will be joining the organisation at a busy time so will be flexible, reliable and team-oriented in your approach to work, with a positive can do attitude. You will be responsible for securing high quality, impactful media coverage across a range of regional media outlets, including print, online and broadcast for our spring/summer 26 events and will support on the communications campaign for Brighton Festival 2026.

You will work with colleagues in Marketing to coordinate joint campaigns for events and ensure Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival’s stories are told across the organisation’s digital channels.

The successful candidate will be a strong communicator and copywriter with excellent attention to detail, capable of building relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have a keen interest in the arts, be comfortable using your initiative and working collaboratively with colleagues, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
