We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Practitioner (Nursery Nurse) to inspire and nurture our little ones.
Full or part-time role available.
Shanklin Day Nursery is a small, family-owned nursery located in Stoneygate, close to the city centre and all local bus routes. We have an excellent reputation, achieving good and outstanding Ofsted reports for over 30 years.
Earn £26,000 – £27,000 full-time, with pay based on your experience and qualifications.

As a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse - apart from all the usual paper work, knowledge of legislation's, confidence, ability to work in a team etc you MUST HAVE the following to join our fantastic team:
- A warm, smiling face that makes every child feel special
- The ability to sing out of tune confidently in front of a crowd
- Skill in distributing warm hugs as required
- The ability to rapidly count the heads of numerous moving small people
- Comfort talking about bodily functions (with a strong sense of smell to match!)
- Talent for pretending to eat playdoh and drinking endless cups of pretend tea
- Ability to read a ten-page fairytale upside down, with at least three interruptions per page
- A willingness to have lots of fun and laugh daily
- Most importantly—you must be ready to feel loved and valued by young children and their families
