Where will you be working?
At M Group Energy, we’re enabling the energy essential to support our lives.
We provide an end-to-end service, delivering solutions in electricity transmission, distribution, renewable energy, EV, metering and home decarbonisation.
This role will be within our Transmission & Renewables team. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.
This offers a hybrid arrangement with 3 days based from our Annesley office & 2 days working remotely.

What will you be doing?
Looking to begin a career in the commercial field? With this role, you can travel down that path! You’ll be a crucial part of our commercial team, assisting in the commercial administration of our contracts working closely with our Quantity Surveyors and project teams. You’ll be involved in;

- Administration of contract records & client applications for payments
- Subcontractor application/invoice validation, valuations and uploads into Cost Management System (CMS)
- Preparation of Subcontract payments, including Final Account Adjustment on CMS
- Maintain and update Subcontract Liabilities
- Performance of any reasonable task requested by line managers
- Close liaison with, and provision of assistance to, all operational and support staff to enable overall management of projects
- Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post

What you’ll bring

- Previous administrative experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Use of Microsoft Office applications – knowledge of Excel
- Confident, positive & committed with an enthusiastic attitude
- Accurate and timely provision of information
- UK driving license
