Summary
Main duties of the job A key member of the Divisional Management Team, responsible for ensuring that the highest standard of clinical care is delivered and that all targets and objectives are met in line with national and local standards. To be responsible for developing and implementing strategic and operational plans for the Division. To foster a capability in clinical teams including independent contractors to deliver safe, effective, efficient, timely and person centred care To work with the Deputy Medical Director, Clinical Directors and senior managers to support the effective and safe cross-sector care To support the Deputy Medical Director in the leadership of medical staff across the Division and within the GMS workforce, including performance management and appraisal. To contribute strategically as a member of the Divisional Management Team.
