Summary
MOT Tester required for our client’s busy independent garage, located in Torquay.
The salary of this role is up to £35,000 basic.
MOT Testers play a huge role in our client’s company, and they play a huge role in keeping our roads safe!
Benefits:
- Basic salary up to £35,000 DOE
- Monday - Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.
- Saturdays are optional
Responsibilities:
- Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA standards
- Perform general servicing, maintenance, and repair work
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete relevant documentation and maintain records of work
- Ensure health and safety standards are followed
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Valid MOT Licence (preferred)
- Previous experience in as a technician
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently and meet productivity targets
