Duties of the Service Advisor:
- Attending to customers during vehicle drop-off and collection, ensuring a seamless experience
- Accurately recording customer requirements and relaying them to the workshop team
- Keeping customers informed of vehicle progress throughout the service process
- Costing and obtaining permission for any additional repairs or work needed
- Preparing and presenting customer invoices and related paperwork
- Explaining the work undertaken clearly and professionally
- Promoting service products such as service plans and extended warranties
Candidate Specification:
- Experience in the motor trade is highly desirable
- IT literate with good organisational skills
- Strong customer-focused approach with excellent communication skills
- Ability to upsell and promote additional products and services
- Confident in managing customer appointments and providing outstanding service
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferably clean)
- Knowledge of CDK or Kerridge dealership management systems is advantageous
