About the Role
As a Swimming Support Buddy, you’ll accompany him to the pool, provide encouragement, help with confidence in the water, and be a supportive presence throughout the session. You don’t need to be a pro swimmer—just comfortable in the water and happy to help someone enjoy an activity they love.

Supporting a gentleman with additional needs during a weekly swim
Offering reassurance, prompts, and positive company
Helping create a fun, safe, and relaxed environment
Building a friendly, consistent connection

✨ What We’re Looking For

Warm, patient, and enthusiastic individuals
Confident swimmers (no advanced skills required!)
Good communication skills
Commitment to one session per week
Reliability and a sense of fun
A commitment to Real Life Options’ values: Respect, Honesty, Responsibility, and Excellence

What You’ll Gain

A rewarding experience and meaningful connection
The chance to make a real difference in someone’s wellbeing
Increased confidence and new skills
Plenty of smiles and feel-good moments

If you’re someone who loves being in the water and wants to help someone else enjoy it too, we’d love to hear from you!

Make waves. Make memories. Volunteer with us! ✨
