The role: The post holder will provide support to home managers and administrators, directly advising on adherence to procedures and their use of business systems providing ad hoc advice and training, identifying and reporting on business issues, advising on how to achieve improved process compliance and greater efficient/effective usage of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing support in improving the quality of processes and system usage, through identifying issues, advising on achieving improvements, providing training and support plus monitoring the success of the activities.
Working in close liaison with Regional Directors to report and advise appropriately on the compliance of processes and use of business systems.
Provide proposals for future actions to address issues and to support planned initiatives, seeking Regional Director’s approval and sponsorship in implementing changes in the homes.
Work with the Systems Operations Manager and Regional Director to devise and implement action plans that deliver a measurable reduction of non-compliance issues.
Identify and develop the most appropriate and cost-effective method of support and training delivery
Review and evaluate the effectiveness of advice provided and training delivered
Advise on business continuity planning including ensuring continuity of processes throughout holiday periods, staff absences and abstractions.
Attending and contributing to Business System team meetings.
Feedback operational user and technical issues back to the Business System team to allow them to capture, diagnose and resolve issues.
Testing systems and processes as part of upgrading systems and developing new applications
Produce quality written procedures, user manuals and materials to support the use of systems and compliance with business processes.
What We're Looking For:
Able to travel to residential care homes and other Care UK sites.
Previous experience of performing a similar role in a large organisation.
Up-to-date knowledge of general IT systems and commonly used software packages.
Experience of delivering training and production of training documentation
