Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our ARB team, supporting pupils aged 4 to 11 years with a range of complex needs and diagnoses. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with children who have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and require tailored support to access their learning.
The successful candidate will be required to work 30 hours per week, term time plus two INSET days on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2026.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide targeted support to pupils with communication, social, emotional, sensory, and physical needs throughout the school day.
• •Assist pupils during whole class, group, and one-to-one activities to help them engage with the curriculum.
• •Collaborate closely with class teachers and ARB staff to ensure pupils receive a broad, balanced, and well-rounded education.
• •Support the development of pupils’ communication and social skills, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.•Contribute to planning and delivering high-quality learning experiences within the ARB and across mainstream classes.
• •Maintain detailed records of pupil progress and contribute to EHCP reviews and multi disciplinary meetings.
