Summary

Location: Ladywood Leisure Centre, B16 0RA
Working Hours: 30 hours per week, 2 week rota to cover a mixture of early, late and weekend shifts.
Salary: £19,710.05 per annum + Excellent benefits

Here at Birmingham Community Leisure trust our goal is to get more people, more active, more often. We provide affordable access to a wide range of sports and leisure facilities to support healthier and happier people across all segments of the local community. To deliver those services takes an enthusiastic and customer focused team
- and right now we are looking to recruit for a Receptionist to join the centre.   
As the Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your role is to provide concise customer information and service with regards to the facility and its offerings. The role will involve a high level of customer interaction, which will be face to face, emails and dealing with queries over the telephone. In addition, there will be times when you will be required to assist other members of staff.

You will help in facilitating a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities and free leisure access with excellent benefits and discounts.

 Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust.

About you

We are looking to hear from candidates that have previous experience of dealing face to face with customers in a busy environment.

You will have good communication and customer care skills, have a maturity and calmness to work under pressure, the ability to handle cash and maintain customer records, as well as a good telephone manner and confident with using IT systems.
