An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Bradgate Education Partnership at Mountfields Lodge School as a SEN Learning Support Assistant. This is a fixed-term position until 23rd August 2026, working 27.92 hours per week, term time only plus inset. The role requires availability from Monday to Friday from 8:45am to 3:20pm (which includes a one-hour lunch break) The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to pupils and teachers, working under the direction of the class teacher and SENCo with small groups and individual learners. At times, you will need to adapt provision to ensure our young people can fully engage with the curriculum. The ideal candidate will: • Have knowledge of working with children on the autism spectrum. • Be able to adapt activities and routines to allow children to access learning. • Show initiative and willingness to work as part of a team. • Have experience of working in an educational setting • Have good numeracy and literacy skills.
