Summary
Brimsham Green School’s Art, Design & Technology Faculty has a vacancy for a Senior Technician (Food and Textiles). Applications are invited for this term time only position (38 weeks + 2 INSET days per year) to cover 18 hours per week worked over 3 or 4 days – we are willing to work with the preferred candidate to agree the times of work that are mutually acceptable.
The Senior AD&T Technician will provide technical and administrative support to teaching staff, predominantly in the areas of Food Technology and Textiles. Duties will include the management of classroom resources and equipment; the maintenance of Food Technology / Textiles classrooms; stock management and the implementation of safe working practices. You will need an enthusiasm for education, be committed to supporting and working with young people and have practical experience of the equipment used within the Faculty. The position will commence as soon as possible with a starting salary of £11,051 per annum for 18 hours per week, 38 weeks + 2 INSET days.
