We are seeking a proactive and confident Team Manager to lead a dynamic service providing intensive, short-term support to individuals rough sleeping in the Westminster area. As Team Manager, you will ensure that the service delivers high-quality, trauma-informed and person-centred support, promoting safety, wellbeing, and swift progression into appropriate accommodation or reconnection pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day management, supervision and direction to a team of 6 Complex Needs Project Workers, as well as Locum and Night Staff
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver consistent, outcome-focused support to clients with diverse and often high-risk needs
- Offer guidance to staff managing complex cases involving mental health, substance use, immigration challenges, health issues and housing barriers
- Drive the timely completion of assessments, support plans and move-on preparations, ensuring interventions remain focused and effective
- Oversee caseload allocation, staff performance, safeguarding practice and risk management in partnership with the Service Manager
- Ensure thorough assessment and recording processes, using appropriate tools and sharing information with partners where required
- Maintain productive working relationships with local authorities, connection boroughs, outreach teams, health services and other key stakeholders
- Promote a culture of accountability, professionalism and reflective practice within the team
- Support the Regional Manager with budget oversight, value-for-money initiatives and monitoring expenditure throughout the financial year
