Summary
The Best Connection are looking for a Polisher to join our leading manufacturing client in Wallingford
Location: Wallingford
Shift times:
- 7.00 am - 15.00 pm
- Monday - Friday
Pay Rate:
- £27K yearly
- Overtime available
- X1.3 Monday to Friday
- X1.5 Saturday
Responsibilities of the Poliser:
- Finishing of GRP mouldings
- Trimming, preparation, polishing, gel coat repairs and assembly of moulded components.
- Polishing of gel coat surfaces
- Checking and identifying defects requiring rework
- Sanding and finishing of cut edges using abrasive papers
Qualifications and experience required:
- Previous experience of finishing GRP or paint finishes/ detailing
- Able to work independently or in part of a team
- Previous experience of working within the marine industry or similar is advantageous but not essential
