An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Student Experience and Wellbeing Manager to join our highly effective Student Experience and Wellbeing Team, reporting to our Director of Student Experience and Wellbeing. You’ll be working alongside and managing our amazing, inspirational, friendly and hard-working staff to ensure we provide aspirational and inclusive learning opportunities to all our students.
As a Student Experience and Wellbeing Manager with Etc. you will be a key member of the College management team, supporting all staff to create a culture of safeguarding for all our students. You will act as the Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead for the group and the lead for all safeguarding matters at the site you are based at.
The ideal candidate will be organised, empathetic and approachable. Have detailed experience of working and supporting learners of various ages and abilities, as well as an excellent understanding of safeguarding. Good leadership and management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work to high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, experience of producing high quality reports as well as be willing to learn and develop.
This role is a pivotal role for Safeguarding at the college, and the successful post holder will be a primary point of contact for staff, students, families and external agencies. Management experience related to safeguarding in an education, social work or youth service setting is essential, however further job specific training will be provided.
