Staffordshire STaRs are seeking a skilled and motivated Band 7 Non-Medical Practitioner (NMP) to join their dedicated Substance Misuse team across Staffordshire.
Role Overview: This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00) focused on delivering clinical interventions for service users accessing drug and alcohol support services. The successful candidate will play a key role in prescribing, reviewing, and managing treatment pathways.
Key Responsibilities:

Prescribing for Alcohol and Opiate Substitution Treatment

Conducting Clinical Reviews of prescribed service users

Running independent clinics post-induction
-
Supporting Detox/Rehab interventions

Promoting awareness of BBVs, NSP, and treatment pathways

Using Illy data system (training provided if needed)

Band 7 qualified Non-Medical Prescriber

Experience in drug and alcohol services

Full UK driving licence (essential)

Ability to work across multiple sites in Staffordshire
